2016-1 Discover Korea

Globiz Project presents “Discover Korea” program to promote internalization on campus and in depth interaction with international students to help students understand cross-cultures. Please show your interest by participating in the program.

A. The contents of the exploration should include all 3 lists below:

1. Modern Korea companies and societies experiences (such as Panmunjeom, traditional markets, Jeju-do, Suncheon, Tongyeong, food tasting journey, pansori etc.)

2. Participation in expos/ fairs: (such as trade, distribution, logistics, etc)

3. Cultural sites tour and experiential learning (such as Kungju, Haeinsa, classical music, art, etc)

※ We would like to notify that students can be eliminated when all of the above are not included.

B. Information on Discover Korea

1. Who can apply?

- A team of +-5 Business Administration students and international students (exchange students and degree students)

- There are no limits on the ratio of Korean students and international students but there should be evenly teamed. (recommend two or more international students in one team)

2. What are the procedures?

- The group/ team should choose their own topic of exploration on Korean culture and companies and submit exploration plan (Please refer to attachments “Proposal Form”)

- The Globiz Center will consider the appropriateness and preparedness of the exploration plan and 5 selected teams will be provided with travel expenses. (₩ 500,000 per team. 1night 2days)

- After the travel, the teams are required to submit a report. (Format of the report will be provided)

※ Registering the posts

- The title should be: [Discover Korea] “Name of the team”.

- Each team should fill out the attachment file named “Proposal for Discover Korea” in English.

- Name the file “Proposal for Discover KOREA – team name” and submit.
