Introduction

The Ajou School of Business(ABIZ) has long been touted as the "business school that never stands idle in innovating." ABIZ was the first to introduce the English-only lectures among Korea's universities and takes the leading globalization of the campus, as well as administering unproctored examinations, the Honor Declaration campaign to boost self-esteem of all students and uphold it s academic integrity. ABIZ aims to not only nurture talents with advanced business administration knowledge and leadership but also to instill the highest standards of honesty and ethical behavior in each student.

ABIZ’s BBA program is composed of the Departments of Business Administration, Management Intelligence, and Financial Engineering. The Department of Business Administration helps its majors gain skills to efficiently manage and operate organizations through the practical application of theories and innovative educational techniques. More than 80 courses across the areas of accounting, financial management, marketing, human resources, business strategy, management science & operation management, and Management Informantion systems are taught by dedicated faculty members. ABIZ boasts one of the highest employment rates within the university, and our successful graduates are playing instrumental roles in many corners of society. The Department of Management Intelligence, unparalleled in Korea, is a star that has brought the media spotlight to our school. The Department of Management Intelligence links basic principles taught by the Department of Business Administration with the IT industry and electronic commerce sectors, and delivers future-oriented management skills to our students. The Department of Financial Engineering is Korea's only world-class research-focused department in the finance field recognized by the Ministry of Education. The department is bursting with high-caliber faculty whose research and teaching vaults the department into the level of the world's top-flight universities and internationally renowned scholars from the US, China and Europe.

ABIZ puts a premium on extracurricular activities as well as regular courses. To more strongly promote ABIZ’s culture of pride and vitality, we encourage students to join our many academic circles and clubs to build a vibrant campus life that is rewarding both academically and personally. ABIZ students can choose from a wide variety of student academic circles (20 in total), and these clubs broaden the experience and help students build an extensive network of relationships.
